I trust you are all having a good start to the summer and that like me, you are looking forward to a little bit of time off over the summer break. There have been a few developments in the protection market over the last few months. Here are some of the latest market news:
Friends Life transfer to Aviva Group
The merger between Friends Life and Aviva will be completing in October this year. Those of you who have a Friends Life plan will be receiving correspondence from Aviva shortly confirming the changeover to the Aviva brand. Don’t worry, you won’t need to do anything, but you may find the Direct Debit will switch to Aviva, from Friends Life. If you haven’t reviewed your arrangements for a little while, why not get in touch and we can carry out a free review for you.
LV launch Doctor Services
All new clients from 6th June will have access to the service which will provide Remote GP, prescription services and a Second Opinion service. We are seeing more of these added benefits being added to plans across the market which is brilliant. Remember, you don’t have to be really unwell to be able to use some of the great benefits of your plan. Why not get in touch so we can confirm what added benefits you have with your plan, or the option to upgrade to a plan that does?
Royal London now available
Lastly, we are really excited to announce that we have recently agreed to add Royal London (formally Bright Grey and Scottish Provident) to our panel of insurance providers. They offer a comprehensive range of benefits including Life Insurance, Critical Illness cover and Income Protection. If you are thinking of reviewing your cover, we now have even more options to ensure you get the right cover for you and your family. Why not give your advisor a call to see how they can help.
I trust have a wonderful summer and hope to speak with some of you soon.
