Annual house price growth slowed in September, annual growth is still positive and is now at 1.3%. The average house price in England and Wales was £297,287 which is up £3890 on the same month last year.
The South East of England has remained slightly above these figures at 1.8% and the best performing area was the East of England reporting 4.5% growth.
